Michigan Nursing CE Requirements
RNs and LPNs in Michigan are required to complete 25 hours of continuing education every two years, including 2 hours of pain and symptom management. Beginning with the 2017 renewal cycle, nurses are also required to complete training in identifying victims of human trafficking. This one-time training requirement is in addition to the required 25 hours and must be completed prior to license renewal in 2019.
